Combo WB10/TC10 Save $180
The TC10 is our most common tyre machine for workshops who do occasional tyres and individuals who have known sets of tyres to work on.
Check out the spec sheet link [click here] to see a comparison of all tyre changer and wheel balancer models.
Don’t forget – the top assist arm (TAA) which is commonly used with fixed post tyre machines, dealing with low profile tyres and hard walled tyres such as run flats, 4WD.
TC10 Tyre Changer:
The TC10 tyre changer features a robust fixed-post design, with the grey vertical post securely mounted to the blue base. Unlike tilt-back models, the post remains stationary during operation. The mounting head swings in from the side and is positioned accurately using the screw adjuster on the post.
Simple, Accurate Head Positioning
The duck-bill mounting head is attached to a spring-loaded hexagonal shaft. The operator lowers the shaft by hand and locks it securely into position using the control lever.
To align the mounting head with the wheel, the support arm swings in from the side. A threaded adjustment knob allows the duck-bill head to be set to the correct diameter and clearance for the rim and tyre.
Once positioned, the TC10 is operated using the foot pedals. After the tyre work is complete, the mounting arm simply swings back out of the way, providing clear access to the wheel.
Removable Pedal Console
The front pedal console is designed as a removable pedal box for easier servicing and maintenance.
Minor adjustments can be accessed by removing the side panel. For more detailed inspection or maintenance, the complete pedal box can be removed by undoing four Allen bolts and one locating bolt, then sliding the assembly out of the machine.
Flexible Tyre Inflation System
The integrated inflator includes:
- A pressure gauge mounted on the post
- A convenient air hose connection via a foot pedal on the side of machine
- Foot-pedal operation from the side of the machine
- The option to reposition the inflator assembly for improved flexibility
This setup provides convenient pressure control and easy access while working around the machine.
Rim Protection
The TC10 includes plastic protection at key contact points to help minimise the risk of damaging alloy and painted rims:
- Plastic protectors on the duck-bill mounting head
- Plastic protection on the bead-breaker blade
- Plastic protectors on the clamping jaws
Motorcycle and Quad-Bike Compatibility
Motorcycle and quad-bike wheels can also be serviced using the optional motorcycle adaptors, making the TC10 suitable for a wider range of tyre-fitting applications.
Included Accessories
The TC10 is supplied with:
- Spare plastic mounting-head protectors
- Tyre lever
Please check one technical detail before publishing: the original text mentions adjusting the “tilt speed of the post,” but the TC10 post is described as fixed and non-tilting. That line may refer to another pneumatic function or a different model.
WB10 wheel balancer:
For regular wheel balancing, there are 3 main measurements that must be provided to the machine depending on the type of wheel being balanced.
A – Distance from machine to edge of inside where wheel weights are to be added on inside of weights added on inside of rim
B – Width of rim if weights are added to outside of rim
D – The diameter or rim
WB10 Wheel Balancer – Key Features
The WB10 wheel balancer uses manual data entry for the A and D measurements. These values are taken using the measuring pointer that extends from the machine.
For balancing modes that require wheel width, the supplied width-measuring tool is used to enter the correct value.
- Manual entry of A and D measurements
- Extendable measuring pointer
- Width-measuring tool for applicable balancing modes
- Suitable for motorcycle wheels with the optional adaptor. Special motorcycle clamps help protect wheels and bearings
