Combo WB10/TC10 Save $180
The TC10 is our most common tyre machine for workshops who do occasional tyres and individuals who have known sets of tyres to work on.
Check out the spec sheet link to see a comparison of all tyre changer and wheel balancer models.
Don’t forget to inspect the top assist arm (TAA) which is commonly used with fixed post tyre machines dealing with low profile tyres and hard walled tyres such as run flats, 4WD.
TC10 tyre changer general details
The TC10 grey post is fixed to the blue base (it does not tilt like other models), the duck bill head swings in from the side to locate the rim. A screw adjuster on the post is used to set the head into the correct position.
The duck bill head that presses down onto the tyre does so by lowering the spring loaded hexagonal shaft it is attached to by hand and holding in position using a lever to lock the shaft.
The duck bill is aligned with the rim by swinging the arm that holds the bar and duck bill in from the side and adjusting a threaded knob that will hold the duck bill at the correct diameter for the rim and tyre.
Once set the tyre machine is operate by foot pedals as all machines are, once work is completed the duck bill head is moved out of the way by swinging the arm back out.
The front pedal console is a removeable pedal box. The pedal box can be accessed by removing the side panel for small adjustments like adjusting the tilt speed of the post (on the outside valve block). If more detailed inspection or maintenance is required the entire pedal box can be slid out after undoing 4 allen bolts and a locating bolt.
The inflator has a gauge mounted on the post and an air hose connection that is operated via a foot pedal on the side of machine or moved out from machine if desired providing maximum flexibility and ease of use.
The duck bill head has plastic rim protectors, the bead breaker has a plastic protectors and the jaws with plastic protectors to ensure minimum chances to damage a rim.
Motorbike and quad wheels can easily be worked on using the optional motorbike adaptors.
The unit comes with spare plastic protectors for the head and a tyre leaver.
WB10 wheel balancer general details
For regular wheel balancing. There are 3 main measurements that must be provided to the machine depending on the type of wheel being balanced.
A – Distance from machine to edge of inside where wheel weights are to be added on inside of weights added on inside of rim
B – Width of rim if weights are added to outside of rim
D – The diameter or rim
The WB10 manually enters the data values for the A and D values using the pointer that moves out from the machine, and a width measuring tool for modes that require width measurement.
Motorbikes wheels can be balanced using the optional motorbike adaptor which has special clamps to avoid any damage to wheels or bearings.
