Professional engineers registered in Queensland tested and verified the HAPP 12 design against relevant Australian Standards. In addition, HAPP registered the verified design with Workplace Health and Safety for use in commercial workshops.

The HAPP 12 suits customers who need a full-rise scissor lift with clear access to the vehicle’s drivetrain. Therefore, mechanics can complete servicing and repair work more easily.

The lift also works well for mower workshops and home garages. For example, users can load large mowers from side to side. This position provides clear access to the blades and underside.

Australian engineers used modern structural analysis tools to assess the lift. The coloured engineering images on this page show examples of this analysis.

The HAPP 12 uses four anchor bolts in each runway. As a result, the lift remains securely attached to the workshop floor.

Alternatively, customers can recess the lift into the floor. This option creates a smooth and level workshop surface when the lift is lowered. Customers considering this setup can view a recessed installation at our Willow Vale location.

The HAPP 12 reaches a lifting height of approximately 1,860 mm. Therefore, it lifts higher than many competing scissor lifts on the market. By comparison, most other HAPP lifts reach approximately 1,900 mm.

For vehicles with longer lifting-point distances, users can raise the loading ramps and use them as platform extensions. Once raised, the ramps sit level with the runways and provide extra lifting length.

The HAPP 12 scissor lift is suitable for a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair work. It reaches a full lifting height of 1.86 m and lowers to just 11 cm.

When not in use, the lift packs flat to help save valuable workshop space.

The HAPP 12 uses electronic solenoids to control the safety latches. As a result, it does not require a compressed-air connection. This makes installation simpler and everyday operation more convenient.

Most scissor-lift users prefer this electronic safety-latch system, because it is easy to use and requires fewer external connections.

Two sizes of lifting blocks are included. These blocks provide greater flexibility and suit a wide range of vehicle lifting points.

The high-quality control box manages both the lifting and safety-latch functions.

Protective shields cover the hydraulic hoses to help prevent accidental damage.

A heavy-duty industrial 15-amp plug is also included. It features an orange collar and a one-metre lead, making it easy to connect to a suitable extension lead.
